Another successful event for the Rapids Riders ATV Club. the weather wasn't too promising for a clean up crew to venture out...rain and wind! However, by early afternoon the sun came out, and it warmed up nicely. The wind was still a factor, but if you help your bag just right, it helped keep it open and ready for trash!
On May 22, 2021 the Rapids Riders ATV Club met at the Shinglemill access of the UPM Blandin trail in Itasca County Minnesota offering a trail ride to Hill City MN. The public was invited to attend and have guided rides for the day.
Rapids Riders ATV Club sponsored a Fall Ride along the B&B Connector Last Fall. We Started from The Balsam store with a stop at Antler Lodge and then travelled to Bigfork for a meal. Everyone enjoyed The spectacular fall Colors along the way. It turned out to be a safe and enjoyable ride for everyone and mother nature blessed us with some excellent weather for the trip. Over 25 machines and nearly 40 riders attended. Thanks to everyone that attended and made it safe and fun!
MDHA (Minnesota Deer Hunters Association) has been working with hunters and for hunters for over 30 years. One way they do that is through education – education of hunters and the public on the value of the sport of deer hunting and the regulations which curtail the illegal taking of deer. As part of that education, the Grand Rapids MDHA donated $300 to the Rapids Riders ATV club to help with the cost of Youth ATV Safety Training.
RRATV Hosted nearly 100 youth aTV riders from around the area to help them complete MNDNR Youth Certification in 2023. Due to an outstanding number of Certified Instructors and volunteers, the course was highly successful. our aim to is teach new riders the benefits of responsible riding and instill good safety habits to carry with them for the rest of their lives. Congratulations to all of our 2023 graduates!
